All are invited to Grand Rapids, MI August 22-23 for the 10th Annual 28th Street Metro Cruise. It is the largest car cruise in the world. Over 15,000 vehicles. Around 250,000 spectators. 15 miles of 5 lane road. Traffic movement is good. It is automotive heaven. Almost every parking lot along the 15 miles is occupied with Cruise-worthy vehicles.
I go out with my dad and son every year. We park at a Burger King, set up a canopy and watch the cars for hours. Not far from food and a bathroom.
This is the first year that I have something worthy to cruise in.
Most of the car dealers clear out some-to-all of their stock so vehicles of the same manufacturer can park. The Toyota dealer does not clear out and I cannot find any formal or informal meeting place for Toyota vehicles. So, I am looking to establish a Toyota meeting spot.
