Hey gang. Most of you probably don't even remember me. Which is probably best for you and me. I had some time to kill this morning so I thought i'd come check in. This was such a great community and I made a lot of friends and some I still am in contact with.

Hi, you won't know me but it's nice of you to drop in and say hello to everyone.

Is it always so dead in here? When i was active there were responses all the time and the off topic page would have a page full of responses from that day. Hmm maybe kids these days just have too much social media to keep up on. Back in my day we only have 6gc.net and Myspace

Oh yay some responses
Glad there's some people alive around here. Is Coomer apart of this anymore? I ran into him randomly about 3 years ago when he was riding his bike down a hill in seattle. well I didn't literally run into him. I was crossing the street and recognized him.

Trying to bring excitement to an almost 20 year old economic box is a tough thing to do! Pretty much just expect a small dedicated community and very little growth from now on.
One of the celicas I admired back in the day. Hope all is well!

Unless it is a Honduh anyway.
It's just part of it, the Celica is "just a car" for most that own them. Then again the type of "enthusiasts" that own the other econo-boxes we wouldn't want around here anyway. So, damned if you do damned if you don't.

It's possible, I see excitement in 37 year old nostalgics doing crazy swaps. It's all about demographics, unfortunately....

I am in love with it. It's truly my realistic dream car. However, my celica is my true love. Wish I still had the celica but all good things must come to an end.
It seems pretty common that after having a celica people move on to a 350z or g35.
Cruisin down the street in my Infiniti...always lookin for my next trip to Sin City
I love my Z. Unfortunately I'm selling it and moving on. Lucky enough to keep the Celica. The Z's/G's are some great cars, definitely the most fun I've had behind the wheel.

I've thought about the 350/370Z or G35/37, but I can't be a trend follower so I'll have to choose something else now.

It's not only here that seems to be dead. THe whole scene has died down a lot since the early 2000's. No one even gives my car a second glance now and im sure if I had my celica it would be called rice now days even though it was pretty clean.
I now find myself saying "when i was your age...." to kids when they talk to me about the car scene. lol. i feel old!

Infiniti are plenty though...you may say their number is almost...infinite? At least where I live. The industry isn't as focused on visuals anymore, it's all "hoon factor."
