I was reading some import mag's on my break the other day and saw (in turbo i think) that they removed a 3S-GTE and droped in the supra v6. They said it was a "Great Fit" If I remember. So it just might work.
i've heard about that a while back. It sounds weird too.
but I would rather have an AWD car than a RWD. better traction for the holeshot. you won't waste time by peeling out like other cars do.

Edit: It will cost less than just the AWD. Cuz you gotta get rid of the FWD and gain the RWD but if you have FWD you only have to gain the RWD to get RWD.

that's a lotta WD's and $$

Matt.

fallenhero, did you read carefully if they dropped in a supra V6? i belive it is an Inline 6(I6). As for the "Great fit"...our engines go this way: - - - -(I4),

Corret me if i am wrong. Question, why would you want to drop a supra into a celi? WHY?

I want the RWD because of...oh i know! DRIFT! what bout AWD cars? better grip?
on a dry road FWD RWD AWD that really doesn't matter it's up to the person as to wich the like better. and when the roads are wet then FWD RWD or AWD really doesn't matter either cause if you can't drive none of that is going to help you.

The car you are thinking about if you are looking at this month's Turbo is a IS300, they removed the 2JZ-GE (non turbo supra engine) and put in a 3S-GE. The 3S-GE is the engine that the Toyota Altezza has in Japan (aka Lexus IS300 in the US). The Supra's engine is also an Inline 6. The other possible car you are talking about is Top Secert's Supra that they took the 2JZ-GTE (turbo verison) and swapped it in favor of a 3S-GTE. They did it so the car's weight would be more evenly distributed in order to compete in top speed racing. It was featured in Turbo a while ago.
