So I'm trying to see if we can have a monthly meet in the Houston area so we can get more chances of seeing everyone around and all.
The yearly thing doesn't seem fair for the ones who can't make it, so monthly will get people more opportunities. And in the end more people come so is a win win for everyone!
With the holidays coming up it seems impossible this month (unless people are available) so I'll try to to organize something for January 2014.

Man if I lived closer to the houston area, I'd go every weekend. Wish the DFW, Houston and Austin areas could have a larger meet like I hear they used to.
That'd be pretty gnarly maybe in centerville? I think that would be the center for austin, houston, and dallas areas.

Yeah I think that's about as close to the center as it gets, and def a doable drive for me. Is there a good place to have a meet there?
we used to do the hill country run out in Austin. fun twisty roads.

Yeah they have every kind of jerky from elk to buffalo, it's also a good bbq place to eat at as well. And if we can get the people and the right weekend I'm definitely game. And I didn't even hear about any austin cruise but that might have been before I joined or while I was away.

Yeah I saw the elk jerky on there website but for $70 I'm not gonna know how it tastes. They used to do them but that was 3-5 years ago, I was still in high school so was couldn't attend. Anyway, that place is less than a 2 hour drive for most of us, hmm maybe we shld get a thread going for it and see who wld want in.
i think the problem is location, we need suggestions, like the one above.

We did the Austin gig back in like '08. Pretty good group of I think 12 cars? Maybe someone out in Austin can help you guys set up a course with some good twisties. If not, find out about the Twisted Sisters route out in that same area.

the old threads are still there, stephen had the route there. The austin run would be great if people come. like i said, i dont only 2-3 cars showing up after such a long drive.
