Need help on intermittent idle/stalling issue - 6G Celicas Forums

Having issues with an intermittent idle problem on 94 gt.

Before I was deployed the car ran great except for an oil leak. The car then sat for 6 months without the battery hooked up. Now my car has an intermittent idle/stalling problem. I have replaced the distributor and the igniter due to the CEL code 14. It ran fine for a week then the problem came back with the CEL 14. Yesterday it wouldn't stay running at all. It started up fine this morning when it was cold out side and frost covering the car. but now that its warmed up outside to 50 degrees, it will not stay running for nothing.

I'm leaning towards fuel issue but not sure if that would be intermittent like this. Any suggestions?

It may be a fuel issue but check the voltage of the car when idling i had 2 of these doing this and it was not charging at idle and the battery was struggling to keep the car running.

I will definitely test that when my DMM arrives. Thanks for the suggestion.

While my car was running I had the battery and altenator checked at autozone, they both tested fine.

I was able to drive it to work this week but the idle issue came back when the weather warmed up this afternoon. From what I have seen on forums I'm going to clean the TB and see if that helps.
Cleaned the TH and changed the plugs and wires. Still only runs when cold outside. Any ideas?
did you ever get this figured out?
if it wont idle I'd change the IAC idle air control valve. usually the little piston gets all caked with carbon and gets kinda stuck.

Still trying to figure it out. Its been cold here lately so i haven't had the no start issue. My IAC isn't plugged in, I bought the car like this and was running fine beforei deployed. I'm starting to think its something to do with the fuel due to the plugs, wires, distributor and Igition Control Module are all new. I do recieve a code 14 ( Igition Control Module loses signal) when it doesn't want to stay running. I'm planning on replacing the fuel pump when it warms up. I already swapped the relays around but didn't make a difference.
