Hi all. I bought my car used as a 97 GT Convert... but..

1) It's spoilerless. Was the spoiler removed? Is it a factory option that the previous owner did without? Or is mine simply a 95 model? Did the 'verts until 98 not have a spoiler?

2) No side skirts. I have the black vinyl crud on the side. Was this a factory option? Or is mine simply a 95 model? Or did the verts not come with side skirts? Can you put stock side skirts on them?

Those are options. You dont HAVE to have a spoiler and you dont HAVE to have sideskirts.

Yes you can put spoilers and sideskirts on.

pretty sure the verts only came with the 'black vinyl crud' type sideskirts. the stock hatch ones should work fine, not 100% sure tho, it could be a bit short. can anyone shed some light on this?

I dont think theres any difference in the wheel bases of the hatch and coupe, it would be too many different parts between the 2 versions.

My red vert has black crap skirts and no spoiler. But I saw a white one around here with black crap skirts and a spoiler that must have been stock.

if you paint the stock side skirts, they look nice. Somebody did this a while back, but I don't remember who...
