Ok lost in the sauce here lol, been reading through posts for like 2 hours and getting different answers, and old posts with pics removed now sad face

Ok so I have a 3rd gen 3sgte with an ST205 ECU (99% sure it is any how 89661-2B840)
I sent tweak the harness a while back, mainly to get rid of this problem (obviously didn't) and cant get ahold of him. Anyhow looking through some posts and cant quite figure it out. I find you should jump the Intercooler level sensor (dont think I have one Not sure what the wire and connector look like) and add resistors to the other IC pump clip.. I also dont have....

Going to post some pictures from my can and other posts to try and get some answers here.

Found this post, and its very detailed, but I dont believe I have that clip for the IC pump to add the resistors to. It seems pretty simple there, but I dont have that clip, or at least I cant find where it is.

The level sensor and pump connectors were probably deleted during the process of (not) solving the code issue. This might be why you can't find them haha just to cover bases though, you did check underneath the metal battery support around the underside of the frame rail, correct? That's where the pump usually goes..The level sensor clip is the 2 wire connector that you have pictured with a red line jumping the two wires..there's a picture of it haha how do you not know what it looks like?? (Read the bold, below)

Yeah im sure you are correct, it must have been deleted which does not help me lol
I stood out side tracing the whole harness from beginning to end lol, the IC pump plug is not there. But the level may be, theres like 3, two wire clips just dangling (not sure what the color of the wires is for that)

I may have figured it out (Thank you WannabeGT4) The "easy way" only works if that stuff isn't deleted in the conversion, otherwise you do it like this, straight from the ECU.





Just want to get some confirmation on this before I go diving in lol. It seems to make sense though. Im going to get the resistors and relay tomorrow. It seems pretty straight forward as long as I cut the right wires, please let me know if there is something else I need to know

This should help you tremendously..
Wire in the resistors at the ECU as if they were at the end of the (non existant) connector. Reference "Wiring fix" picture.

EDIT: Nevermind, you found that picture haha
Also, E1 is sensor ground..probably won't need it but just in case something doesn't seem right.

ha yeah but thanks i like having a confirmation that what im looking at is correct. It seems almost too simple now lol
picking up the supplies tomorrow, I'll check here to see if anyone has any other input and just go for it

the E here is just any ground right? I know I have unused power and ground from the radio. Also will the 12V (radio) work or does it need to be constant 12V?

Have it all wired up exactly like the diagram. worked from the relay to the ecu. get to the ECU and I dont have a single one of the highlighted pins with wires. Im sure adding the pins is easy but Im pretty sure there is a tool i dont have for it. any how thats all i need i think.

you dont have the plug for the pump because its part of the st205 body harness.
no special tools needed to add in the pins to the plugs, they just slide into place from the back, and sorta click into place, you can get them outta any camry, celica, corrolla, ect, in any junkyard.
you can get them out of the plugs with a safety pin. they do make special tools for getting them out, but in most cases the saftey pin will work as good or better..lol

i'd be curious as to why you dont have the wires in the plugs already tho, your 3rd gen harness should have had all the wires already there..
in any case, that diagram is correct and should work if you wire it up correctly, along with grounding the LEV pin, which is for the level sensor.

Thanks Manny, got it figured out! Just need to grab one of these clips from the junkyard. Closed sundays though! and im sure monday as its a holiday

Anyway the confusion for mine was that I dont have any wires in the pins I am supposed to be working with.

Got it! This wiring below works. Runs alot better now, and actually get boost lol
5th Gen pins for the ecu connector work, but they arent the same. Just FYI incase yours doesnt have pins like mine didn't

I'm happy to see this worked for you. I have a feeling I'll be going through the same thing in a couple weeks when I go to work on mine. The only code that was showing was 54 and the pump itself was just replaced.
