Time to swap an 1mz on that celica if you keep it

$4507 was the final settlement amount (plus I get to keep the car). Not too bad, considering we bought it 3 years ago for $3800.

Not bad, part/sell the car and you've got a decent start of a DP (or a full one depending on what you buy). Glad that it all worked out well for you.

See, it all worked out. When it's all said and done you should have $5,000-5,500 to work with for your next car.

Yeah, no DP for me. I'd rather buy my used cars outright. Credit isn't good enough to get a good financing deal. Too bad I was a sucker for credit cards when I was in college :-(

If I can't buy it outright I do without it. $5,000 will buy you a nice car. Could get a 330i that's well sorted, what I'd do if buying a BMW that wasn't the M3.

Aww man, did you already ditch the celica? I would have bought the gold badges off you kindasad.gif

As for BMWs....there is no room to work on them. Anything post 1980's BMWs has no room to work, I would know, I drive one. Fan clutch is a bitch on autos, get a manual BMW if possible, they don't use a mechanical fan and the electric fan just pulls out no problems.
