Do lugs nuts fit all wheels????
Is there a standard size for lug nuts?
Where can i buy lug nuts for my car?
I'm going to try kragens and wheelworks to see if they sell lug nuts.

Stock lug nuts dont fit with aftermarket rims

they all use the same size tho right? something like 12mm x 1.5? how do those locking lug nuts work? are there any particular good ones? also is it one lock nut per wheel? i've only seen then in packs of four.....and would that look funny on the rim? >>

the best thing to do is to check a sevrice manuel to see wich nuts go on your rims cause i know too well that it's not a one size fits all. trust me you don't want to have a lug nut that not ment for you wheels.

There are stardardized groups of lug nuts for diffirent classes of cars(aka, SUV, Pick Ups, Compact cars,and Imports), but this does'nt apply to after market rims because each manufacturor has diffirent rim configurations. Example: my rims, the Excel TZ-7 each lug nut requires a "key" to remove them and the actual lug nut hole is smaller than the industry standard. A key is nothing but a special socket to fit a irregular lug nut configuration making it more dificult to remove your rims, but by no means immpossible. All in all check the service manual or the manufacturer infomation for the rims you have or are getting but be carefull. If you loose the key to your rims you'll have a hell of a time trying to replace it.
