Hey guys Been kicking around the idea of having another NC/SC area meet, and need feedback! had a BLAST in Raleigh a few months ago and figured its Charlotte's turn! Keiri and I have been thinking late september/early october.

Give me dates you guys would be available. IMO October 10 would be perfect

I know im new here but i think an NC/SC meet would be an excellent idea, i live just south of columbia, SC and would be willing to make the drive to hang out and shoot the **** with some other celica owners!

It would be nice to pull some VA/SC/NC members together in Charlotte!

We're still coming up with things to do but on the short list are a cruise on HWY218 (or 205) - both are decently curvy roads that connect to 74, maybe a trek up to the mountains, or some automotive events (drift, drag, dyno day, etc.) in the area before going for a photo shoot.

If anyone has ideas or suggestions, please feel free to post!

The photo shoot idea sounds like a blast, i'll make sure to clean and polish the ride up before hand wink.gif but im down for what ever goes on, i think it would be cool to get together regardless, even if its just grabbing a bite to eat and riding around the country side!

glad to see the enthusiasm! lets shoot for october 10th In charlotte there are so many motorsports events like brian said but its hard to tell when they will be sometimes until theyre a few weeks away. Lets get a attendance list going!

Oct 10th could not be a worse day, its a thursday!? i work mon-fri, presumably like most people lol
Its a 5 hour drive for me, but Id love to hit two meets in a year smile.gif we should pick a saturday IMO though, alot more people will be able to make it

October 12th works for me - no prior engagements and it should be nice and cool by then.

That's an option; we Charlotte people could drive to the Rock easily but I don't know about the mountain/SC guys wanting to make that trek on a Sunday.

that is a pretty good option, shall we take votes? Im all for it if that is the consensus. on the down side, there is nothing to actually do in rockingham. plus having to pay probably 15 to get in

It's a great place to get some 6gc exposure. Remember, we are the lost sports car of the 90's. Need to represent against all those ridiculous civics!

rockingham isnt that bad of a drive, i can take hwy 1 all the way from columbia and get there, so i'm down if thats the new plan smile.gif

im down for whatever, just dont want to be stuck in traffic for hours. I went to a car show last year and we just sat in traffic for hours spent like and hour there, then hours in traffic back lol it was horrible thats why I like the small meets too. and driving in a caravan biggrin.gif seeing 10 bad ass celicas driving around biggrin.gif

I'm with Nick - is this still happening? I know Ben's out of commission for the meantime but are we all still trying to head to the Rock?
