rear camber kit - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #90134 12 posts Started by celicaracer8o5
hey guys, i have a 94 GT dropped on Megan coils. i havent adjusted the coils so they're spec from the factory. i have the stock 17" Tc rims on it and you can clearly see the negative camber (3˚ if i remember right). anyone out there have just about the same specs as i do but without the camber? any input would be greatly appreciated. thanks in advance guys! ill try to get pictures of the rear wheels tomorrow.
do you have adjustable rear top mounts? I cant recall if they do or not.
camber bolts will help for a couple degrees. But start with the top mounts if you have them

no rear top mounts checked when i noticed the camber. ill try googling for camber bolts when i get to my laptop.
Best bet is buy the camber bolt and adjust it all the way positive.

I remember mine was around 3-4 degrees and once I put the eibach rear camber bolts and adjusted it all the to the most positive I can get. It came out just perfect. Not noticeable negative camber.

If u purchased the EZ Street series, you wont have any adjustments to Camber.
If u bought the Regular Street Series, than yes, you can adjust the camber on them
from the top mount.
I bought a pair and I also have TC rims and the rear does come with very noticeable
negative camber..

I once had 17x10 rims, such a ridiculous idea of mine and thought about lowering it,
I forgot who from the forum recommended me to buy

from RockAuto. So I did, but I got rid of the rims and never installed them.
if your interested in them, just PM me and we can work something out.

hope this helped..

Megan Racing Series only comes with front camber plates. Rears has no camber adjustments. I'm pretty sure you knew that just forgot to input it. Lol.

Just a FYI, you'll need two bolts, one for each side. /replace the top strut bolt with them. it'll feel like you're cross threading then when installing but it's the way they're designed. Yes you can still unscrew them. You won't be able to screw it with your hands. You'll need the wrenches. I didn't know about this and though I had a defected bolts until I called eibach. They told me what I just said. Lol. So don't be surprised if it takes some muscle to screw it. smile.gif

You probably had the full kit. One bolt for each strut. Wouldn't recommend using two camber bolts on one strut. I doubt it'll be safe having two smaller bolts. Almost half the size of the stock ones. To hold the struts. Lol.
