so i happily started to replace my stock headlamps
with the projectors i recieved yesterday

after i installed them i noticed my right side wasnt going on,
so i tried my high beam and that didnt work neither...
(*both high and low works fine on driver side)

i hardly ever drive this car at night, so it is possible they werent working before the swap.
both light bulbs are working as i tried them on driver side...

not sure if this can possibly be a fuse or a shortage on a wire, no idea..

There are fuses in the fusebox underneath the hood. I'd start there.

i drove the car around the block and it blows again.

should i try a "20" ?

As long as you're not drawing any more current off them then you should be then you should avoid just getting bigger fuses.... remember the fuses are there to protect all of your other circuit components and wiring that will be expensive to replace.

My bet would maybe be a dodgy connection somewhere?

i just blew another 15..

placed a new one in the fuse box and the moment
i shut my hood, BOOM! right side off ! and this is wierd because
as soon as the right side goes off, my high beam left one goes on...
im guessing this is by default to improve light on street... ?

There is very likely a short in your wiring somewhere if it keeps blowing fuses. Now for the fun part, tracking down the issue...

How did you wire in the new headlights? Did you make an adapter or cut the wiring? If you just made an adapter for it I would take it off and test it with a multimeter to check for any short circuits / 'temporary' solder joins etc.


Edit: Also, I am very annoyed you get to install yours in a day. I had to wait 3 weeks for the adapter plugs to make my wiring (since none of the shops sold them here), and still have to do a tab repair on the weekend before I get mine in on Sunday / Monday

That leads me to believe there is a weak connection in your wiring and the vibration cause by the hood triggered it. Good luck on the hunt.

I FOUND IT

skippd my lunch during work just to fix this problem.

So the plug that came with the projector must have been cut before,
in the wire there were some kind of small piece of welding, and i mean very tiny
and this must have been triggering my fuse to blow.
luckily it was exactly where i first started to look from..

i guess next time i order any used parts make sure to investigate and clean well before installing.
