18" Work Emotion CR Kai on ST205?? - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #89984 11 posts Started by nammer
Looking to get a set with tires. Was wondering if anyone knows if it will clear my stock calipers.

18" x 7.5". +42 offset.

Will it look too sunken in? Will i need spacers? I skimmed through the flush fitment thread and I'm not sure if i came across fitment for ST205. (at work and can't search too much)

I'm okay if it's sunken in, as I can deal with that later. I just don't want to drive 50+ km to get rims that won't clear my calipers.

Thanks!

I THINK they'll barely clear the calipers because the 7gc gts is 16x7 with +43 offset. My specs might be off. Lol.

I had a set of 17" SSR Evolution Decoltes on mine and they cleared the caliper fine with +42 offset

Thanks for the replies. Can anyone else confirm fitment?

crap, just noticed you said st205.
They cleared my twin pots with room to spare, not sure about 4 pot but sounds like ILoveMySilly97 may be right

So I went to pick them up. They don't clear the front calipers. Will need to get spacers. Thanks anyways!

Had 7 st205s and my rule of thumb is 35p offset minimum, anything greater looks ugy sunken in. Even 35 isnt wonderful but looks reasnable

Thanks, 5mm spacers cleared the front calipers by a few hair widths. The rears didn't need them but i have some bolt on spacers coming to make them a bit more flush.

+1, I regret buying +45 for my front wheels. Should've went +35 all around like my rears. kindasad.gif
