Radiator brackets don't fit - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #89803 17 posts Started by woo10
Just replaced my radiator with a new koyo radiator due to to the previous had leaks and cracks.

I have come across a problem with the radiator brackets not attaching properly.

If you have come across this before let me know.

Just bend them down?

The bottom is sitting in the original position
Are you sure the rubber grommets are still in place at the bottom? Sometimes those come out with the old radiator and will cause the new one to sit lower.

Sexy upgrade man!

May have been the dimensions of the radiator you got wasn't right?

I got the Koyorad R1958, which was abit thicker than the standard one. But still went in without any issues.

Glad it worked out biggrin.gif
I don't know even when I changed my radiator, for some reason one side sat lower, even though both grommets in place. I used a rubber spacer to bring it back up.
