I just need a little reassurance before i go rip all my belts off. My alternator belt is fine, was replaced about 6 months ago with the alternator. Where do I loosen the power steering belt? and is there an idler pulley on the a/c belt? and if so where? thanks for the help

Remove passenger side wheel, remove plastics.
Find the bottom bolt on the pump, loosen it, which will loosen tension. Enjoy working in a hellish spot if its a 5s. Enjoy slightly more freedom with the 7A.
2 bolts. 1 Pry bar. Remove the AC belt to do the PS belt.

Don't even think about trying to change your PS belt from the hood with a 5S
It is an absolutely awful spot..but the best way is through the passenger wheel well, for sure.

its an old 7afe. but removing the wheel does sound like the best idea. this will be tight since this side of my car is a little damaged from a deer hit recently. does the a/c belt have idler pulley?
>
You tension the AC pulley or that assembly by a bolt underneath the alt.
Its either a 10mm or 12mm can't recall. Slightly hidden.
