What management system is best for a 3rd Gen 3S-GTE?
Currently im using an emanage blue but it isnt doing as well as i had hoped.

So....im in the market for what piggyback may be better for our engines.

I've been testing the Megasquirt II system for a while, but never implemented it to any car.
I say it was one of the cheaper alternatives ($500 or less) to an EMS which could run about $1-2K. However, some of the flaws include having to build the circuits, tuning from scratch and finding the right settings. However, a lot of people have basic map settings and tunes for stock motor now which makes the process a lot easier and you can buy the pre-built EMS.

i would go stand alone. get the AEM EMS 4 or Power FC

Have you or do you know anyone who has used the EMS 4 before Smaay? was looking at it the other day, seems like a good bang for your buck kind of thing compared to the PFC.

there is no "best" one, the best is to buy that one your tuner is working with

I don't think EMS4 works with our distributor, so it would be a custom trigger wheel type of deal.
PowerFC is okay, but quite a few years old and offers no knock detection.

MegasquirtPNP is out for the 2nd gen and should be out for the 3rd gen soonish.

hhmmm im not sure if the EMS4 works on the distributor or now. and the PFC does have knock detection, at least it does on the 7th gen
