Idk if I can make it guys. With rent, the need for tires, alignment, the cost of gas and the cost of the hotel... I can't make enough, even if I skip out on the tires, to make it an affordable journey. I had to skip paying insurance this month too. Being poor sucks.

If it were a bit later in the month, like past the 24th, I could probably do it. But the 18th lands on an in-between paycheck week... I really don't want to show up on winter tires and sucked in, stock rims.

I hate to say I have to back out, but I have to back out.
There's no way possible for me to come up with the money by then
I absolutely have to do pads and rotors, as well as all the hardware for the calipers.
Then I just found out this past weekend that my filler neck piece is rusted out and leaks gas cause it was pouring out when I filled her up....

Bah!
This meet is falling apart!

I ordered some critical parts in to get my car back on the road for this meet, and they have yet to come in. Hopefulley they will come in time. I could even throw them on the night prior.
If they dont come in by the day before, I wont be able to make it in the celica

I'm sorry you guys!

I also just found out I need new calipers in the rear along with the brackets and I'm getting brackets in the front from Dustin since all my slider pins are freezing up on me!! AAHHH.
and then I absolutely need to do my filler neck since it's not rusted, but rotted out....

I feel ya. I had to replace my calipers and brackets in the rear because my bolts snapped off inside of the brackets. All four wheels got brand new treatments. Lots of money for something you'd think would go simple. Luckily, my filler neck rotted at the dealer, so they replaced it after I bought it, or I'd have been out the $250 for that too.

so just assessing the situation I think it would be best to postpone the meet. Seeing as how we had a few dropouts and even my own celica probably wont be ready (registered) by that time.

I know the few of you who had taken off work for the event are the ones that cant make it anymore so hopefully I wont be ruining anyone else who had taken off. I will check in with some of the other guys that cancelled so that we can establish a better date when all can attend!

I really appreciate the interest guys, this is my first time organizing a meet and I want it to be great, hope to get this back together with more attendees in the coming months!
