I've been thinking for a while that it should be a mandatory option, have a little menu that makes you select one or the other before a thread can be posted. There's no point in verbalizing it though.

FS threads are waste of space 80 percent of times, people waste other people's time and never buy.... So..... If this was my site! I'd delete the entire section and put your FS stuff in your signatures, so everything will be handled over pms, too many people clutter your posts. If you have something for sale, the more you post the more people see it in your siggy

That's true but how would someone search for a part they want if everything for sale is in the signatures only? So that wouldn't work but I do post my FS/FT/WTB links in my signatures. It's a good way to let others out there know what I have or interested in.
