Anyone tried this on our generation? It looks interesting. I'm just worried about reliability. Plus, you still have the same crappy weak-ass sway bar.

honestly you can do it to try it out.

also I don't understand members who go through the trouble of buying a rear whiteline sway bar in europe thats 2mm thinner than the rear suspension technique sway bar when the st sway bar are here in usa. they get it because ooooo its got an 3 adjustments to place the end link at. the suspension technique only has 2 adjustments. its a known fact (as you can even see in the above thread) and from personal experience that the holes closer to the middle make for a better handling car.

The whiteline part is for ST205, why would suspension techniques make an ST205 one? Technically noone has one?

Whiteline only makes the rear sway bar for ST202 that is 20mm

Suspension technique makes front and rear. The rear is 22mm.

people think because whiteline has one more adjustment on it that it makes it better. when the only adjustment you need is the one closest to the center. I'd like to compare both side by side just to see how much closer the hole is to the middle. See the member above he's within an hour driving distance from me perhaps he has pictures...

I think you misunderstood what delusionz was saying Bonzai.

Quite a few people around the world own ST205's, the ST205 wasn't offered in the USA. Whiteline makes swaybars for the ST205, where as ST doesn't make them for the ST205. So of course people are going to buy the whiteline one to fit their vehicle.

Myself personally hadn't heard of ST until members on this site brought it up, where as whiteline was more widely known. And although the ST is cheaper to begin with, once you add in the shipping to other countries it makes it more expensive, so then the whiteline the wiser option.

I haven't heard of any members having issues with the whiteline, but have heard ST had to make another version due to some fitment issues? and tabs for the endlinks have snapped off and can make noise.

I would actaually prefer more adjustment and settings to suit my style of driving, due to whats involved with installing them then getting an extra 2mm

OH, does the Whiteline bar fit ST202/4 aswell??? I just assumed not but I could be wrong

Whiteline is what we know in NZ, wouldn't make sense for us to order Suspension Techniques , and vice versa,

I'd just never heard of anyone here getting a Whiteline bar on an st202, all talks of Whiteline swaybars have been in reference to ST205, but as it turns out they have a different part for the ST202




IVE still got mine sitting on the ground I'm not ready to install it yet, i want to practise more controlling a weight transfer in the cars normal state

Aha see i knew. Wasnt crazy. The member who posted this thread has an st204. And as u have just figured out delusionz that they do make it for n/a celica u understand what im talking about.

The rears will never snap off its a much thicker mount than the fronts. The fronts i advise to reinforce. Hey guy who posted the thread reply already

Lolz.... Wow I caused a stir. Yes. I have an all american st204 5sfe. My question was about the N/A GT model.

changing the mounting hole location will change oversteer/understeer... but i dont think it would change the rigidness of the ride.
