Can I drill a small hole for it to empty out then smear silicone over it to seal it, then peel it off if //when it happens again?..
I CAN use just the lows but it was great having hi's out on the country roads we drive to & from work making it way easier to see road verman & deer..
Yup I did a search & wish it were only condensation, but I am definitely NOT pulling the bumper cover!! I don't have the time to have it layed up again when I break stuff pulling it off!!!!

Don't see why you couldn't just drill a hole through the bottom.

It won't work.
Well, it will drain it but there will always still be that little bit of condensation in there, and it may mess up the shrouds within the headlight.

Did this when i had the usuall condensation buildup in my headlight and yea it worked, but since it was in there for so long all the rusty brown was still in there, so I ended up just buying a new headlight.

Tomorow I'll drill the hole, heat it up, re-seal it. It is a new headlight!! BOOOO!!!...

How are you going to heat it up and re seal it without removing the head light?

bottom line to keep it from getting even water or moisture the whole thing has to be sealed right. Some people who get it cannot be theres even a tiny hole because thats all it needs to get moisture in. moisture and heat create those craps.

I bought my 96 celica with water in the drive side high beam head light. The bulb was busted out and the bulb harness was not plugged back into the headlight assemble and that is how water had gotten in. I don't know how long the car sat like that because the water had turned yellow and rusty. My entire headlight is yellow from inside. I just heated up an old pointy screwdriver and drilled a hole in it from the bottom. All the water drained out and haven't had the water problem again aside from the headlight looking ugly.

take out the headlight, drain the water, take out the bulb, and put it in the sun. then seal it.

Im assuming if you heat the headlamp up by turning it on, getting all the vapor out by removing the halogen bulb and blowing/circulating fresh air into it before the vapor condenses, you could avoid so hassle of drying it in the sun.

Though I highly recommend sealing the original leak, go ahead and pull the headlight if you need to, better now than later(when you have to buy a replacement)

Well, you could also park the car in the sun. The way i did it before for mine, is to take out the bulb, and use a heat gun, that works too, ive tried it since our cars headlights are glass. takes some time.
