Get some foil tape they use in HVAC. I dunno if it will work but its worth the try.
for your flex piece, I don't know if they patches for that, but i saw napa had something but it may have been for the actual pipe area.

Wrap it with exhaust wrap and some good ol clamps.
do our stock mufflers just unbolt? what's your guys opinions on taking the muffler off?
Fix it, it shouldn't be that expensive.

They make exhaust repair kits, either in putty or wraps.

why take your muffler off when you have a leak from your flex pipe?
i'll try exhaust wrap. thanks.
you can't wrap the flex, but you can put some sheet metal around it with hose clamps to quiet it down a little.

I've got the same issue on my vert right now. I was thinking of just replacing it with some stock exhaust I found on rockauto. Doesn't cost much, just waiting for a school break to get to work on it.

Of course if you are planning on doing exhaust work later wrapping it might be a temporary solution, though here in MD I have to go through emissions every two years so I'd rather have a new stock exhaust to bolt in when the time comes.
