After installing my drop in K&N filter and strut tower bars to my 94 GT I am becoming increasingly interested in a 1mz swap due to the crappy performance of the 5sfe. Since I have an auto transmission, I would have to swap that to do any turbo mods or anything to the 5sfe anyways, so it makes a lot of sense to go ahead with the v6. I just have a couple questions. What is a ball park estimate of the engine/transmission swap? I believe I would just try to find a wrecked camry. Would most of the parts I need be included? car-part.com is where i located my engine and transmission. you will also need the master cylinder and clutch pedal assembly and brake pedal from a 5 speed celica. you will need celica shifter assembly and shift cables. making the conversion to a 5 speed is a big job in itself.
