That's a lie sir. My 2000 gts is much faster (:
But the insurance is totaling it
Which is why I'm considering buying a 6gc
Just want some opinions on the carand what to look for

I'll take on your Gts lol
What to look for is a gt with low miles.
They are a good solid car that tends to hold up fairly....as long as its takin care of.

6GC is handling > horsepower. 7GC is horsepower > handling. Personally, I find it more fun to drive than a 7th gen. Yeah, it has less power, but the responsiveness of it makes up for that in my books. Plus, if it's a daily, who cares about power? Slam it, make it look pretty, and shock the other kids on the school yard?

They're slower and/or less efficient than their competition. Aftermarket is also non-existent. Ehh, upside is they're more solidly built and have non-interference engines. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't go with a Celica. Just depends on what you want out of a car. They're nice cars and I like them, just frustrates me at times for the aforementioned reasons.

My cousins 7th gen was the reason I bought my 6th gen.
A celica is a celica,
6th gens leak oil, namely from the valve cover
7th gens burn oil....

6th are easier to work on...
7th have more modern style

When motor swapped 6th > 7th
Beams can be done for less than 2k + what you have in the car and that makes you equal to the 1zz/2zz in motor tech.
