i just ordered a 99 v6 5speed tranny for my swap and wanted to see if anyone is using that also and what kind of hybrid axles their using. I know i need an mr2 turbo non lsd inners and all trac outers. Feel free to chime in if your using this set up and how its working out for you. thanks

no you DO need LSD axles. im using one in my swap right now and yes im using MR2 Turbo LSD axles

if he is using non lsd tranny, he needs non lsd axles.

dustin (batman722) used a 98 or 99 camry/solara tranny IIRC, and used mr2 non lsd inners, and camry outers.

see! no matter how much we've gone over this, its still not 100% certain. Hopefully batman will chime in and let us know what year tranny he used. I almost bought the camry axles too! I guess theres many options i just don't want to waste the money on a wrong set. I appreciate the help guys

im using a NON LSD tranny out of a 99 Camry and i can assure you that i AM using MR2 LSD axles.

k thanks, so maybe you can use both? Apparently Batman722 used a 2000 camry with non lsd mr2 inners and all trac outers..but that was a 2000. It did mention in his thread that since he is using a newer camry tranny (2000) that things didn't match up as easily as others with older transmissions.

its non lsd.
i live 10 minutes from him, helped him do his swap.
its non lsd inners, alltrac outters.
