Strut tower Brace - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #87649 5 posts Started by redwingshat
Hey all,
I'm new to the forum and plan on making my own strut tower brace for my 1995 ST.
I was wondering if I could get some measurements off of people who have a strut
tower brace on their ST. I want to make a 3 point brace and plan on using steel tubing,
Also if you guys could post pictures so I can get a good idea.

Also do you guys know how much clearance there is between the top of the engine and hood
in a 95 ST no modifications, to make sure my tube clears, also I'll take any ideas you guys have.

Thanks,
Josh
a rear strut bar would be most beneficial really. Since the front suspension is so close to the firewall there is already added rigidity to it. a rear 3 point strut bar would be best really.

Some people are buying dodge neon strut bars and drilling out holes for Celica use. Spider77 had a real nice looking strut bar he said cost him $30 through this method
That is true....but ive always wanted a solid 3 point like the trd one.
