spoilerless coupes - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #8716 35 posts Started by celicarocker
i am thinking about going for a clean look, so does anybody have any pictures of a spoilerless coupe? thanks...
I've seen a couple and I don't like the way it looks it makes it look longer and leaves the back just hanging.

yeah coupes w/o spoilers look nothing like hatches w/o spoilers. they look to long kinda like a boat. thats imo

I used to not have a spoiler, and I hated it, so I got a small spoiler, and in my opinion, the car looks so much better now. >smile.gif>

New Toyota project coming soon...
Here's mine:

yeah, i think ill get a HB spoiler for it, i like that so much more than the stock coupe one...
haha.... now does anybody have any pictures of coupes with the HB spoiler on it?
they need a lower lip to look good, they look to strange with nothing in the back.

ya I got a coupe with no spoiler also. I like the clean look, but agree that it would look a lot better with a lip. Even just the extensions that go behind the wheels would look so much better. As far as spoiler... I'm undecided... have thought about the Electrodyne one... but just don't want to spend the money on a spoiler yet.
I'm going to have my spoiler that i have on my car now for sale, it looks pretty good with the top deck off but it needs some re-fiberglassing (fell off the trunk) so its cracked, but its a pretty easy fix.

I haven't posted around here much, but I love to read. Thought I could help out a bit on this post - here's my Celi with the Wings West coupe HB style spoiler. If you have any questions, I'd be happy to help.

I personally dont like the look of the coupe w/o.

I would take my spoiler off my liftback if my G/F hadn't gotten it for me.. I really like the way the liftback looks with a kit and no spoiler

99 project version 3.0.. hello SEMA 2010 =)
I have a spoilerless coupe. I dont know if you can see the rear end of my car very well but go to my profile and you can see all of the pics that I have put up.
i personally am a fan of spoilerless celicas, period. Even 7th gens look better without, imo. I like the look of the clean undisturbed lines. Check my profile for pics of my spoiler-less coupe.

does anybody know how much height difference there is between the hatchback spoiler for coupes and the electrodyne one like coomers got? the electrodyne one is like $115 shipped, the hatchback one is a couple hundred....
i think im just gonna save and get the hatchback spoiler for coupes... now wheres the place where i can get the best price on this??
My shop charged me $1400 for the entire paint job, mounting the kit and molding the side skirts and front lip (look at my sig) plus the sparco fuel door.
