I have changed my mind 180 about this car, its simply amazing for the price. You cannot expect a lambo for 26K, but you know what, it has what it needs. Why shove expensive electronics like digital a/c and crap when most people will gut it to modify it and put a cage. Well im not doing that.

I was asleep yesterday, and my salesman called me, and told me their dealership had a 6MT frs not preordered, and in the color I wanted. So i head there, and someone was already testing it and put a few miles in it. So I was bummed, waited for my FJ out of service, and he came back, told me the other guys deal fell through.

Long story short. I bit the bullet. This means no celica engine upgrade, and no FRS modding for at least a year. Need to continue in the other projects tough.

And yes its a Whiteout 6MT. I always wanted the AE86, but there is no reasoning getting one in good shape. But those who have not driven this car, please don't talk. Talk until you have driven at least 5 miles in one. And i feel bad for everything i said in the beggining, but hell, this car gots what it takes.

Damn, be sure to write a full review on this once you've had a good chance to take it out.
I've been thinking about upgrading to this recently, in the next few years maybe.
Unfortunately there's like one in my city right now and its a BRZ.

The bold part is having a nice car, that is the new buzz and not modifying it for 1 year, hell im not even joining the FT-86 club yet, and I will keep it as a SCion. I love the Scion thing i guess. Some jdms and euro specs are being swapped to scion, so ive read. Irony, right?

The celica, tough may not get a new heart, but i have several upgrades for it. youll see. I will just drop off the insurance, and work on it side by side with the 76 celica... In the meantime i will ride the frs for fun, and the FJ for hard work.

The 1 year no modification, is an agreement with the wife. So is the celica heart.

you know that is very smart, i just need to know the miles, and if you push the car hard, you need to see the red zone. and both are in the front visual view. For drifters, this must be really important. i GUESS?

from drifting/auto-x my 86 yes.it would be easier to see redline just looking straight down. it bugs me to looks diagonally when your pushing your cars limits.it will shave off time .when im drifting going left im looking out my passenger/very right side of my windshield.you really dont have that much time to turn to look at your tach (left side of my cluster)and look back out the right side of the window (from my personal experience)

A friend of mine picked up a whiteout FR-S.
It's a pearl white and looks good but then he put white wheels on it, not good.
The wheels would look good on almost any car but against the pearl they it looks bad.

There are two in my city right now. A silver and a red one. I need to test drive one badly. Everyone I know that has done so has loved it. My best friend is saving his pennies for one right now lol.

White is so boring , a nice pearl white is ok though.

The pearl white looks really good. I steered clear of it mainly because everyone else in the area bought a white FR-S/BR-Z.

Unkept white is boring and dull. Taken care of white is a thing to behold. Ever seen Paul's Super White II post facelift? That thing is so white, you can't look at it in direct sunlight. We joked that he carried it over the mud at DWG last year lol.
