sweet deal man! looks exactly like mine. wished this was around when I did mine so I wouldnt have had to mod my factory assembly.

That was the plan. It was such a pain in the @$$ to do this mod. It works great; the only problem I had with it was that the 7th Gen Shifter "pivots" were a little big for the pivot boots, so everything is a snug fit when fully installed.

Didn't affect performance at all. And the shift stick being straight up and down didn't bother me either. Didn't seem to get in the way of the e-brake as much as everyone made it seem like it did...

I came across a TRD QuickShift kit at a swell price, so this is up for grabs.

How much shorter is this compared to the stock shifter

Do not be confused by the term Short Throw Shifter... it has nothing to do with the physical height of the shift lever/knob.

As for the shorter shifts - its hard to say exactly how short it is compared to stock because I've been using the 7th Gen Shifter for some time now...
