I was just screen shopping on eBay until I bumped into this picture. What kind of front end is it? Reminds me of a JDM front end of an Integra. Lol. I'm just curious because this is a legit front end.

It's a Curren. Basically a Celica coupe but with a different front end. Same chassis, same engine. Some people on here have one or have converted to a Curren front end.

Really? That's nice. Looks almost exactly like the AE101 front end. Are there any 6gc members who's done this conversion before? This front end seems the be a RARE front end. I'm digging it.

I believe Dan(Playr158) has a finished conversion, haven't seen pics though

never seen final pics of playr's conversion only the build thread. its interesting I really want to see it cus its on a hatch i believe. I've only seen his final conversion on his signature...LOL, J/J, can't wait for those pics.

I personally cant stand the curren front, looks WAAAY to similar to a jdm integra front end, plus, you cant use any gt4 front end parts with it which kills it also for me.

Pictures can be decieving bro. In person the is actually way different than the JDM Integra and is actually pretty appealing in its own way as compared to the 205 or 202. Ud have to see it in person to understand, lol. I do miss seeing a Curren drivin around. Oh why did I have to move back to the States, lol.

Yea. I first thought someone put a JDM integra front end on it or an AE101 front end. But I think it'll look pretty nice in person. I'll still prefer the st205 front end though. Looks the meanest.

in this part of the world currens are common as are celicas, they arent very popular among sports car enthusiasts. only asians, indians and chicks drive them really, same with celicas. and theres a relatively small group of GT4 enthusiasts, rather tight family though, never met another GT4 owner that wasnt keen to stop and have a chat.

Most people would rather some type of rear drive Nissan like a Silvia, or Skyline, or Cefiro etc

i perfer the look of the curren but its pretty hard to get parts for the conversion let alone if you get in an accident but the front goes well with the car

Haha you're so right, I actaully think I see more Currens than Celicas down here where I live. I always find it kind of funny how Currens are fairly uncommon and unknown to people on this board (as a lot of members are from the US) wheras I see several every day. I don't see many, if any, modified Currens around though, not particually popular with the 'boy racer' scene at all. neither are Celicas for that matter though.
