Wheel hub/spindle - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #84469 10 posts Started by Followtheornghat
ok im now on my second spindle cause the first one wore out due to an axle going out and killing the bearing causing it to shave the end of the spindle so the bearing race would not seat and stay. And now im on my second one. no axle problem, cept i spun the bearing somehow and yet again fried the inner end of the spindle so i need yet another new spindle. If anyone knows where i can get one new i would appreciate it. id prefer under 200 bucks if its just the spindle/axle hub. I have new wheel bearing and seal for it already but cant use them until i get a new spindle. Please help!

i need the one on the left. since im still stock and everything. i also have a new spare hub with lower ball joint it will be going into that my buddy bought about 2 years ago cause he just needed the spindle.

You can contact Aaron on here, his user name is Partznet. He will get you the lowest possible price on a new OEM one, if thats what you are looking for.
Be sure to give him your vin number when you contact him.

I see on several toyota websites like 1st toyotaparts, toyotapartzone, and chamption toyota world that the front hub goes for $115. So I"m sure aaron at coniceli toyota can get it for $100 (or so I hope) >>but why is it that most aftermarket companies don't make them?>> They only make the rear wheel/bearing combo. I know timken is world known and I've seen duralast also.

-Places like autozone, pepboys, orielly and napa do not even have the front hub available.

I also blew both my outter cv boot axles and drove on them for over a month till it started making a loud horrible screeching noise. I installed timken front wheel bearings 10k miles ago and they are now done.

I also checked rockauto and they also do not sell front wheel hub. only about 2 other manufactures besides oem, but only online....

what is the one on the right? the bolt pattern looks like 5x114

JDM guy made me do it.
The one on the right is certainly 5x114.3, it is from a RAV4, which shares the same spline count abd can be used in the celica bearings. There's a how-to somewhere...

new Sub hub assembly in, new bearing in, new seals. All new Kyb Struts and mounts.... omg where has this car been my entire life. Drives completely different loving my 6Gen all over again and i didnt even know i was hating it. lol.
Wish I could find gray KYBs around. All they sell now are the Excel-Gs.
