guys, would any of you care to share some good places to buy a 7afe for my 96st? preferably in the usa. I was also wondering, if i bought one of the jdm engines, do they bolt right up? basicaly will a jdm engine be a direct replacement? i know the steering wheel is different, just didnt know if maybe the harness was different or not.. any help is greatly appreciated

Steering is fine. Harness should be find, only difference is where it would wrap to into the fire wall. Jdm motors dont have emissions components so i think youd have problems with that. I know theres a difference between 94-95 and 96 up. Believe its just a sensor thats been added. I imagin the only problem would be inspections each year.

if you are using the same engine then all you need is the long block. you will be using all your sensors and harness from your car. use your intake manifold and exhaust manifold.
