My first car is still my current car! biggrin.gif

6gcHeroes:808hectortimmybatmandiegotigamak
1988 Toyota Supra (wish I still had, sold for the Caddy)
1967 Cadillac Coupe DeVille (still have, need to finish or sell)
1994 Mitsubishi 3000GT (good riddance)
1995 Toyota Celica ST (current car)

I saw a MKIII Supra Turbo for sale locally that went for $700. Wish had seen it, needed ignition/timing work done to it. Body and interior were great. *le sigh*

And if any of you have followed project dirty horse then you'll know that is my 1St car and my baby. Just wish I had the money to really make her what I want and give her a proper home inside. I hate leaving her sit outside
SAAB 900 turbo, I think it was a '83, this was like 15 years ago.

..Then I learned quickly that new driving license + young driver + saab 900 turbo = very high insurance fee..

..So my next car was a crappy Mazda 323 wink.gif

Black Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205 1996(My love..)Silver Toyota Celica GT ST202 1994(Used to be my daily driver)Black SAAB 9-5 Aero sportcombi 2005 (My daily driver..)Black Suzuki GSX1100e 1983 (My steam locomotive)
Mine first was slightly modified Renault R17 with around 120hp with around 900kg and was pure fun, despite ugly look biggrin.gif Then I had to try out the 97 Civic VTI, which I traded for gen 6 ST, and now I have 190 gen 7 bowdown.gif
Am I still allowed to post if my first car is the amazing car that I have today?

Oh man, you're going to make me think....

89 MX6 GT Turbo, had her for 2 months before I was rearended by a Mustang driver...acting like a Mustang driver....

Bought my 5th Gen Celica after that, and have had her ever since, even though my car collection has grown.

91 Caprice (winter car in HS) - gone
00 Camaro - gone
99 TRD Tacoma - gone
94 Civic - gone
95 Corolla - still have
92 SC300 - gone
92 SC400 - still have

First car was a 89 Hyundai Excel that took a hit on the rear passenger side. So the wheel sat sideways. Not knowing anything about cars then, I would just go buy a used tire every 2 weeks when that one blew.

Started with a 1974 F-250. OEM metallic green. 460 swapped in with an Edelbrock 2965 manifold and 750 carb. That truck hauled! 6 MPG whether you were driving it like a granny or flooring it. I chose the latter until I traded it.

1992 VW GTI - 1.8L 8v 5sp. Fun little car, but had weird problems. The thermostat was shot. If you put in a new thermostat it would overheat. If you leave the broken one it runs fine. I sold that because I bought my next one.

1995 Celica ST - went from stock to this:

and when I sold it:

Before I sold it I bought this. No explanation needed:

After it spent a good deal of time in the shop being re-wired I bought a 2003 WRX. Stock at the time.

Then I missed having a Celica, so I bought a 96 ST limited.

But then I had an opportunity to trade for a MR2 a few months later, so I did.
Monster truck!

And today:

1991 MR2 - T-tops - Crimson Red - Gen3 3SGTE - Lots of moneyI'm not really an asshole, but I play one on the internet.**** Photobucket

I really wish I still had my 54 ford f100 with a 455 olds, that thing would just melt tires, not much for handling though.

First car I drove as "mine" was my dad's 00 Buick Century Custom. Took my driving test in it, and drove it until I was 18. (two years)

Second car, (first that I actually owned) was a 1999 Toyota Camry LE:

Started off as this:

Ended up with this: (Well sort of. It was lower and had a full 2" SS exhaust from headers back when I wrecked it)

(Yeah, that's an ultra rare TRD spoiler from the TRD kit that they had for these cars)

Yeah, it was just a Camry... but I loved it... and rocked it hard until the day some asshole speeding through a yellow smashed into me:

My first was a Ford Escort Mk2. It had an RS2000 engine with twin Webers and all the usual stuff.

Light car + RWD + decent power = very fun!

It was a great car, but sadly like many first cars it ended up being crashed. frown.gif

3SGE Beams VVT-i powered Celica
Oh yes... the first car.

'85 mercury cougar. gifted to me at 16. the passenger side window didn't work, the master cylinder was 90% gone, thermostat stuck, etc. I drove it to school until I sold it to pay for prom or something.

Next was an '88 thunderbird (practically the same car) I shared that with my brother and we abused that poor thing. I think it finally died with around 270k miles on the clock.

Then was the '92 grand am. again, shared between my brother and I. It was my first FWD and first stick. I came back from school to it and quickly ran into head and electrical problems. probably about 192k on the clock

Finally, I bought my celica. First car that I purchased on my own. I had a huge case of buyers remorse the day afterwards and tried to return it. I'm so glad that they wouldn't take it back. That was 11 years ago.

Damn, I've driven every single car I've owned into the ground.

My first car was a (ughmmm) 89' Honda CRX DX

Thank god you're alive after that Lil-joe, if that had been the drivers side I think your face would be more totalled than the car.

Heres my first vehicle, my 64 Chevy C-10. I still own it four years later. Paid $2500 cash for it my senior year of highschool, which was a huge deal at the time because I was living on my own with two jobs to support myself on top of school. So proud of that truck.
