Hey that Civic doesn't belong there, it was made in Ohio. tongue.gif Sounds like was fun.

Since 1988 all US market Civics have been made in Ohio. Highly doubt it's Japanese, being LHD. Still not as bad as the Eclipse, ALL of those were made in Illinois along with their Talon twin. Kills me seeing people driving Eclipses(especially) and Civics saying how "JDM" their car is. rolleyes.gif No, your car is as JDM as a Cavalier.

Then Edmund's is a dirty liar, or who knows. Still it's not 100% legit like the Celica and other cars. Pure JDM, not a half blood. tongue.gif G23, if you mean one of the many slapped together Honda motors then yes.

2001 Miata LS 5-speed
Guess that makes the Eclipse a filthy mudblood. laugh.gif

Before I got the Celica I was looking into Honda/Acura quite seriously.

2001 Miata LS 5-speed
There good cars. But they were alittle too easy to build for me
Honda swaps are alot easier than most of the celica swaps
That an they need alot of suspension work to handle as good as a celica

Mainly was looking into an Integra.

I like how we've derailed the thread. Sorry Silly97.

2001 Miata LS 5-speed
The integra looks nice but they are super heavy compared to the civic
The 92-95 civic coupes an hatchs are my favorites

Is it bad thats ive owned all but 2 of those cars lol
my old 94 coupe was even purple too lol

LIES! EP3 Civics (2002-2005 Civic SI) were made in Swindon England and all FD civics and the newest generation civics are built in Aliston Ontario.

I love my British build civic..lol
Like I said, Edmund's must be a dirty liar then. tongue.gif

I never knew this about Civics. Lol. I was going to purchase a Honda Prelude SH before my Celica but it got sold before I went to check it out. Then I was going to buy a Honda Del Sol Si but I found out it had a dent and it had after market headers and no carb sticker Short ram. So I ended up finding my Celica. Surprisingly. Lol. I never expected to find a 6th gen Celica on Craigslist.

I got mine for 4500. Kind of pricey but it was worth it. I always wanted a 6th gen Celica after seeing my aunt having one when I was little. Lol.

3500-6000 is the normal range around me unless its got super high miles

Got mine for $2,300. Was also my uncle who let me have it for less than he had in it, so guess really doesn't count. tongue.gif

2001 Miata LS 5-speed
I drove 3 an a half hours to test drive the coupe
It swap the only one i found for under 2600 that was clean with under 180,000 miles
All the ones close to me eather were 3500 an up or 210,000+ miles an beat up
Or an st( only wanted a gt)

If i wouldnt have found it i would of ended up in a miata or a h22 swap 94 civic coupe

My uncle has a W20, nice car. Would like to have one, but they're a bitch to work on apparently.

2001 Miata LS 5-speed
I could have got it for 400 but my neaghbor needs a car
so hes buying it an im gonna help him get it running.
Im 90% sure it needs eather a coil or a ignition module
But wont be 100% sure until he picks it up

The one I got was actually unknown miles since the odo and speedo wasn't working. But so far maintenance wise(not counting the full tune-up). I spent about 500. I still need to spend some more money on replacing my cat. Hoping it'll fix the BAD emissions I have. Lol. The body was in good condition though. Only thing bad is the antenna was broken off and a bunch of gay stickers that I took off. Lol.

Silly97 ProgressDirtBag87 ProgressCalifornia Members Check In
Lol both mine are catless lol
The coupe has 187,000 on it now had 176,000 when i bought it
the 1mz hatch has 144,000 with around 155,000-160,000 on the 1mz
Ive got arpund 3100 in the coupe an around 4200 in the 1mz swap so far
but both are far from done
