Its pretty straight forward really. Its best to have a bench vice, in my experience it really helps. There is a flat nut of sorts that retains the inserts, put the strut assembly in the vice and use ford wrench (or some channel locks) and unscrew the retainer. Remove insert. Assembly is opposite of removal. Im sure somewhere on here is a write up for this.
you can buy the whole sealed unit!

All the staggstruts i seen the fronts were inserts
The only think i found on here mentioned cutting the top off the old strut an sliding the inserts in
I didnt know if that was right or not

I didnt do any cutting with my stagg struts.. I just unscrewed it and swapped em out. It was a little fussy at first but a good budge and it twisted off. I used two vise grips and had a buddy's help

There's a lubrication type fluid inside the front struts.. I lost quite a bit in my driver's side since that was my first one. My passenger side I knew what to look for so I kept it upright removed the stock one slowly. And when I put in the Stagg strut the fluid slightly over filled but kept as much as possible.

I'm not sure what the fluid is tho'

Lightweight oil -- motorcycle fork oil will work though it's pretty expensive.

While it helps with heat transfer, check the instructions included with the replacement inserts. Some specifically state it's not required.
Thanks for all the info guys
I really thought this was going to get flamed
