Hi everyone. Has anyone of you ever tried to install dimming mirror in your Gen 6? Sorry if it was already discussed somewhere, just haven't found. What mirror(of what car) have you used and what about the connection wires?Thanks

wow, crazy! i just posted the same question. used a search first too. i should've just read down a bit.

so yeah, can anyone offer any experiences?

here's someone installing it on a 4runner
it looks like he took off the stock mounting hardware and glued the...wedge mount i guess, to the windshield.

i guess, before i order one, i should try to get the stock mirror off.

We have a manual dimmer on ours, is that not good enough?

i like the manual dimmer. but i also want the exterior temp and compass of the Cipa 36500

the additional map lights might be cool too, 'cause i could make my door light blue for effect and still have functional map lights.

found a few drawings of how our mirror attaches. still, not 100% sure if we're wedge, camlock, or something else.
