The wheels are 18x7.5 5Zigen Copse witha +35 offset with Falken Azenis 245/40/18 tires.
My suspension set up is stock struts with Ground Control coilovers. Before I put them on I had the coilovers lowered about 3.5 inches. When jacking it down all tires were hitting. I ended up rasing it about 1.5-2 inches. Driving around on these bouncy shocks and turning hard I still scrub a little so I'm going to have to raise it about another 1/2 inch. Hopefully when I replace my struts I can lower it again as it seems to high for me now that I'm used to being lowered 3.5" on 14" wheels.
Because of that scrubbing issue I recomend getting a +38 offset compared to a +35 that I have. The recomendations for our car is +35 to +42.
i managed a tire store 5 years and i would say a better fit would have been 245/35r18 .. it has a shorter sidewall and this would be closer to oem diameter.. but if you are happy that is all that matters ... besides 245/35 cost more and is harder find than 245/40..
duuuuude. i'm quite picky when it comes to rims..but those are choice! very very nice. i really like this pic, somethin about it makes it look sooo smooth: anyway, the wheels simply make me say...
thanks for all the positive replys. i'm glad everyone seems to be as happy with them as i am.
as for price they go for $1560 @ www.wheelmax.com but i paid $1050 shipped with the Falken tires mounted and balanced. found them on ebay but then negoitaited a deal outside of ebay with the tires.
EXCELLENT You got them unbelievably chiep. I hope i lived in the states when this kind of miracles can happen. I have a silver GT4 1998 and those tyres would be perfect on my car as weel. Unfortunately they cost 3-4 times as much in my country so i settled with painting my 17"s dove grey like my leather interior
If you look at the second to the last post on the first page my friend that took the pics posted with not only the model of the camera, but also a picture of it >>
