On my 97 my top needs to be changed I ordered a new one but I am having trouble finding my specific manual. Anyone
have a link or have step by step. I know the basics.

The only place you can get a specific manual is threw toyota. If you dont find anything by monday I'll send you the diagrams from the manual

What I want to do is just replace the top canvas. Someone sliced it to get to glovebox. I bought a nice black top(not window piece) to replace the tan top.
I just don't want to take apart to much. I don't think I will have to take motors off, but it seems like I should take seats and side panels out. That is why I was wondering if anyone did just the top. I have detailed directions but like the front passenger axle the manual has 20 steps and here I found out how to do it in 4 steps.
Anyway going to go for it in 1 or 2 weeks since then stiched it up and put stormsure wetsuit glue on it and I dont even think it will really leak but looking like frankenstein top. top is done I will post a step by step some time after I completely finish.
