Does anyone knows how to install a front jdm tow hook on our kars?
depends on the kind, but you are more than likely going to have to drill holes into the crash bar

or unless theres a lot of problems with the car. but then again peeps do it for style or convenience of not having to get a tow truck, they'll just use a tow bar.

i would never get a tow hook.. easier for the robbers to steal and pull my car to their tow trucks or just pull it. IMO...
^ Yes for a track car it is, but seeing as he's asking how to instal 1 I take it its not for a track car.
Simple but not the best way is:
Rear: Clamp bolt to stock tow hook. Not the strongest join and may bend if you actually use it.
Front. Drill 2 holes to the front crash bar. Bolt it flat and horizontally. Will need to find a place for it to poke out of a front bumper grill or have to cut a slot out.
Not the best pic of it, but, if you see where I have my tow hook... 1/4" steel with a hole. There is a nice flat part on the front of the frame. I just welded the steel right to the side of the frame. Obviously have to notch the bumper. There's not many good places to get a good bite aside from that frame rail. Everything else is structurally pretty weak.

I prefer not bolting anything to the crash bar as it's fairly thin aluminum.

Really though unless you're racing it its a stupid idea in my opinion.

Bolt it to the frame not the crash bar. Unless you want your whole front clip ripped off. I guess the stock tow hooks arent convenient when you have a front lip
