Topic #82477 9 posts Started by chino771
Just wondering if i were to get 17 which set of rims should i get? sugestions please. kindasad.gif

What brand are the 2nd ones?
Seen them on a couple cars, just curious if these are the legit jdm ones or knock offs?
But to run those you'd need to be pretty slammed and stretched IMO
Not really a fan of the other 2

xxr 527, what kind of driving you doing ? any autox or just dd ?

I would go with the 1st one with no red lip if you had a Gt-Four.
With any other trim I'd go with the 2nd.

If i were to oder them they would be straight off the xxr website
Thinking about TRD struts and coilovers after the rims or should i do that first??

Just car meets, and dd, but some racing
To be honest, i'd probably go with suspension before wheels:
1. Celica's sit like monster trucks with rims and without lowering so you probably won't be that happy with it.
2. Depending on how low you want to go, you will be able to pick a set of wheels that will fit better, and you'll know if you need to roll your fenders, run spacers etc.

what size you going with ? 17x8 ? if you choose the 527 ?

XXR is more or less the definition of knock off cast wheels, definitely not JDM.
