Hello, I was reading the stickys on turbos and I've been searching but I can't find this info. I am looking to boost only 5-8psi and I was wondering if I would need to upgrade my fuel system or not and also how much power do you guys think I'll get off of that. Also I have the 5sfe
A few turbo questions - 6G Celicas Forums
depends on the turbo. you are making a very common turbo noob mistake. 7 psi on turbo A is nothing compared to 7psi on turbo B. for example on my Supra at 15psi i was making 450HP on my old 62-1 turbo. when i upgraded it to a T72 at the same boost level i was making 575HP.
now to answer your questions, YES you MUST upgrade your injectors. a very simple turbo system is use the stock 3S-GTE turbo and manifold, supra 310 injectors and the 3S-GTE MAP sensor.

Can you use Turbo Supra injectors for a 5sfte project? I found some for really cheap on ebay
With the addition of any turbo to any NA engine fuel mods are mandatory. Bare minimum I would do 315 injectors and 2 bar map sensor,
option 2: is stock injectors and 10:1 or 12:1 fmu.
Option 3 : safc and bigger injectors
Option 4 : piggyback or standalone
A walbro 190 lph or 255 lph pump is also a really good idea. 5,8,10 psi , it doesn't matter, you are inducing more air so therefore you need more fuel.

The 315cc supra injectors are only good for under 200whp setups.
I would really stay away from the fmu setups, they put a lot of strain on your fuel pump, and one little hiccup is a blown motor with em.
Get some 390-460 cc injectors for a sub 300whp setup, with an safcII or emanage ultimate. And for bigger goals than that, a full ems is your best bet.
