Does anyone know where the rev limiter is at on a stock 5sfe? It's a '94 ecu and harness on a '95 engine.
I only have a concern because I accidentally hit 7k one day...

6250 is the rev limit on the 5s 7200 is the 3sgte.
I hit 8600+rpm on a misshift, (3rd to 2nd @ the track).. the ecu kills fuel and spark @ redline, so as long as you don't spit a shim or strech a rod bolt, you'll be fine.

well everything has been fine for the last week so thats a good sign
ya i spun my 7a over 8k before (misshift as well...) and ran that motor for another 2 years before i got hit
