tranny has nothing to do with SS. just get one compatible with the 6th gen.

trd is a nice option, but hard to find. some guys fabricate the 7th gen short shifters to work.

I believe TWM has a drop in for the 6th gen, i ahve one in my 7th gen and all-trac, i like them.

twm is a good brand i have a friend with one in his 2zz celica. it is pretty nice!
