I heard that some of the breaking parts (discs, pads...) from the 1994 Supra fits on the St205, can anyone confirm that?

The front and rear pads from the gt4 calipers are the same used on supra!!

brake disc will not fit, they are different, just the pads and rebuild kit for the calipers, the calipers use different mounting points, but internally are the same.
ughh I so need this answered and didnt want to start a new thread. Has anybody physically seen the the SS-III twin piston calipers. I need to know if the Twin Piston SS-III Calipers use the same mounting points at the single piston Mcpherson brakes used on ST204 and ST202 SS-II Celica's!

there are 2 types of twin piston calipers, one is desinged to mount with Super strut suspension, and the other for McPherson, just make sure you get the right one for your application.

ya ya I'm well aware of that, the twin piston mcpherson came on SS-II beams celica's with no helical. just wanted to see how far off they were....

but at the same time SS III owners swap Gt4 brakes with no modification, everything bolts on, so mounting points are still the same regardless of different part number for the knuckles.

I'm also aware you've been here longer than I, but I've only seen one SS-III and another SS-II onwer swap over front gt4 calipers. At the same time it would make sense for toyota to use the same mounting point, hence diff part number?? stronger gt4 bearings??

There is this guy who has put GT4 brakes onto his GT SS ST202, and from what I can read the only difference between the ST20S & ST205 SS knuckles is if it's threaded or not. Not too sure what he did in the end if he just swapped to a ST205 knuckle.
