lol ebay coilovers are decent. i had mines for over a year on my corolla and it drove fine. only problems were: they were bouncy and you didn't know when they were going to break LOL. i believe the new owner still has em' on to this day (3 years)!

No I'm not recommending you get it lol. Just saying they ok for cheap ****.
I'd say 95% atleast of the people that buy coilovers in general do not drive there car hard enough to know the difference between a $800 vs $12,000 coilovers.

yea your probably right
I normally go to the dragstrip 4or5 times a year
an put a honda or 2 in its place everyonce in awhile lol
so im just looking for something that's going ti look good

right now Im looking into kyb gr2 struts an 2im inch drop springs
then maybe some swaybars

Sounds to me like you don't drive your car hard enough for coilovers. I'd just go for replacement struts and springs if I were you. With coilovers, you'll be paying more money just to have a certain look. $800+ for a look isn't worth it to me when you get a very similar look with perfect function for your needs for $400-500.

yea that's why I've kinda desided to go with some drop springs an kyb struts
later on down the road I would like to try running an autocross race or two but that's along way off so im just going with s simple low buck setup an if that's not stiff enough for my liking ill add some better swaybars

I got Monroe Sensa-Trac struts and Tenzo R drop springs and they're good. Its 1.8 inches lower. I payed a lil more over 200 for struts (friend at advanced auto gave me a 15$ discount on each strut wink.gif ) and I got the Tenzo R's on ebay for 70$ w/ free shippings brand new but box was beat to hell looked like it was sitting forever. But I figure 300$ is good enought for brand new springs and struts when my bro paid 160+ per strut for his 2g eclipse. Haha. That's just my .02.

coilovers are for adjustability, if you have a certain drop height you can deal with get those springs and get the shocks you want. pick a good combination, they perform pretty well. For me, I like adjustability.

I wouldn't put Ebay coilovers on your Celica;
The ride is just HORRID.
as of right now my plan is to get the set of ebay coilovers my buddy has an throw them on to play with the right height so see how low of a stance I want then order springs to machine that height
then set the coilovers back for the 91 civic so ill be getting soon (I buy busted up hondas fix them up an sell them)
