camber bolts - 6G Celicas Forums

Hey people i have a question and try to look it up but didnt find the right answer.. i just ordered a set of megan racing coils and i know my camber will become very negative.
I know people use the camber bolt for the rear and install the camber bolt in the upper hole but my question is can you use the camber bolt in the upper hole and bottom hole too? To get more possitive camber using 2?
Next question can i use camber bolts in the front? If so is it really hard to install it correctly? And can i use 2 bolts in the same strut?
I would like to do this if my camber becomes too negative and cant fix it with one bolt per side because one bolt only moves -+1.75 and sometimes your camber even gets to -3 with coils depending how much you lower it.

you dont want your camber more than 0.10 postive. i would use a aftermarket set of cam bolts where u tap out for them. or another way is use smaller bolts then what got in there and then u can adjust your camber to whatever u want like i did. but your gonna have to run those bolts down with air if u use smaller one so they dont come lose and lock tight.

Oh yes i know.. i dont wanna have possitive camber. Negative camber is good but just a little bit.
don't megans come with camber adjusting top mounts?

They might but if your camber is postive that much. Most of the time that means something is bent.

Yes, they most certainly do. I doubt you would even have to consider buying camber bolts with the Megan Racing Coilovers. The Coilover camber adjustment should be sufficient enough.

Yes front.ones do have. But not rear just got my camber bolt for the rear and installed in the upper hole and now is less negative but still too much for me... Is it safe to get another set and install them in the bottom holes to gain more possitive camber with 2 camber bolts? Do i make sense?
Why would you need 2 camber bolts?? I run/ran +10 offset in the rears and only used 1 camber bolt at max negative setting.

Running 2 camber bolts is like having a double deck spoiler..........useless

I don't normally drive fast, but when I do its on a curvy section of this island
while 2 camber bolts will probably reduce the negative camber even further, i wouldn't do it. the camber bolts are not designed to hold a lot of weight so having 2 camber bolts could lead to disaster.
