spacers - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #80410 7 posts Started by Malhar95
i went to get tires for my car the other day, and the tire place were selling spacers. i asked him how much they were, he said $10 each and $5 for installation OR $50 for all 4 installed.

i asked him how thick, and he said "as much as u want"

so my question is simple, how much did u guys pay for your spacers and how thick.

and is there any negative effect of spacers. i just dont like the look of how the wheels are soo towards the center of the car.

thanks

For Sale:OEM tail lights - make offer
$10 a piece sounds way too cheap for spacers where the thickness is "ask much as u want".

haha it's cool. A set of decent spacers usually cost around $100 a pair, but pricing will depend on quality and thickness. Also, depending on thickness or spacer design, you may need to install extended wheel studs too.
had a feeling, when u find stuff cheaper than ebay, not ussually a good sign laugh.gif

as far as the extended studs go, i think they were the one with the studs already installed, like these

i dont know, probably wont take the risk of cheap spacers. ill rather have a bad lookin celi than no celi at all wink.gif

dont put spacers on your car with the stock rims they will f up your front and camber and rear toe. just get wider tires and a good set of after market rims
Maybe he meant the hub centering rings and just used the wrong word? There's no way they can make spacers on-site, and I doubt they're available for 10 each from a manufacturer.
