Topic #80376 9 posts Started by Por2geezcelica
Hey guys, im in the process of boosting my 7afe, and was looking at the oil pan today and noticed on the upper oil pan there is a bolt that is plugging a hole. I was wondering i can safely use this for my oil feed return fitting? If this can be used, does anyone know the thread size?
do you have a picture of this? i dont remember seeing this bolt

if its big enough id say go for it. i bet its an overfill drain plug of some sort, or maybe that piece crosses to a factory turbo part that has the return there (4efte maybe..?)

This screw is for the stock oil cooler return line on the EU models, iirc the thread is M12x1,25.
thanks for the thread size!

Will this be large enough for a return line? What is the best return line size, and feed line size for the 7afe?
What size oil lines should I be using? I'm thinking a -3 an for the feed with a restrictor and -8an for the return?

yes definatly use a restrictor and -3 for the 7A-FE it has really high oil pressure and will blow turbo seals
