This is what sucks... The brake lines I have are SWAGE LINE stainless steel lines. The lines can only fit the stock banjo bolt... There still is enough thread in the actual caliper to hold a bolt if it is 3/4 inch longer, thing is I dont know if I can find a longer bolt with same specs as the stock one...
The insert idea may work only if they can match the stock bolt... I usually thought that there would be new banjo bolts that came with the actual brake lines but it seems as though I got jipped.... or at least thats how I feel as the rear piece of the line that you put the bolt into is about 1/16 of an inch thicker than spec...
I will take your idea and see if I can find a machine shop that will do it for cheap... hopefully I do not have to turn to getting new calipers...
AGAIN HOWEVER if there is anyone that can help me out with more advice it will be greatly appreciated... Or anyone that knows if anyone that is selling a JDM rear drivers side caliper separately... PLEASE PLEASE!!! I would love to be able to drive my baby again...
