community feedback - 6G Celicas Forums

Topic #7985 14 posts Started by boosted_K2
This poll was brought to our attention by neipas. but due to his lack of being able to behave was modified to a more fair asessment. wed like some input as well on things you like, things youd like to see done differently or any praise or concerns. just make sure everything is constructive! you dont like something let us know, and how you propose would be a good idea to fix it. if we dont think it is constructive it will be removed. so keep it clean, we want your input!!

I like how the site is currently moderated because we can still voice our opinion but when it gets bad the topic is dealt with appropriatly. Neipas is very rude for taking shots at not only the moderators but the person that created and maintains the site is low. You do not question how Yahoo! runs their site, so you should not question how Coomer runs his.

i am awesome
Actually I would question Yahoo's moderation, if given the chance, but I think Coomer is doin a great job here. >wink.gif>
I think this site is great. It has just about every little thing you wanna know about a 6gen and the forums are also great. I started visiting this site couple months ago when I was a "virgin" in the 6 gen world and it helped me a lot to understand about the cars. I asked questions on the forums that I didn't know and every single time got an answer. I visit the forum just about every day and read all the posts and I don't think there's a problem on here at all. But of course ... there's some people that get a little snappy or testy but what do ya do?
I love how this site is set up now... granted I have had my grips and rants and have gone off on those I shouldnt of but I think the moderation is just about perfect.. In the past I felt a few of the moderaters should of set a better example but that has gotten better >wink.gif>

The site is run fine and I don't see the need for change. I also think that the fact this string was started is kinda insulting to coomer, I hope he doesn't take to much offense and realizes how much he is appreciated for a great majority of people.
I voted for number 2.

However, I would like to say this: I do get peeved by noobs who come in and ask questions that have already been asked or ones that we have stickies for. However not much can be done to avoid this. These people will always be noobs until they get the hang of things. Until then, we all (including myself) will just have to be patient with them.

For the most part, everything is kosher. But first....

I voted 2 also, i think the Mods do an excellent job. The site is clean, orderly, not to big, not to small.

I did bring this up with Coomer and I think he was on board with it, a FAQ where alot of the noobie questions can be answered.
