my car is lowered about an inch on 215/45/17 tires. and i just got some spacers to make my wheels flush with the fenders. but now i hear a little wheel rub at times. what kinda damage will that do? and when i say 'a little' wheel rub, i mean a split second on hard turns or dips if i'm not going slower than usual. will post photos when i get a chance...

What are you rubbing on the metal?
In the rear, if you're only rubbing on large dips, just go in there with a rubber mallet (or fender roller if you can get one, which is the proper way to do it) and you can bend up the lip just enough so that it doesn't rub.
Thats what I did and it solved my problems.
Not sure what you can do about the fronts though if you are rubbing the fenders, because they come rolled from the factory.
If your rubbing on the front plastics, you could always cut small sections out of the plastics where you rub if it rubs a lot, but that will allow dirt in your engine bay.
If it doesn't rub a lot on the plastics, only sometimes, its not a huge deal.

i'll try the fender roller in the rear. i might even end up selling these and buying thinner spacers...

what is your offset now with the spacers fitted? I would of preferred your other rims instead. Hard to see black rims at night.
